One activity is to solve a riddle, can you solve the following, let your teacher or Mrs Goodwin know the answer:
What’s bright orange with green on top and sounds like a parrot?
For 4.5 billion years, Mother Nature has always been a powerful guiding force and lover of all living entities. However, in the last 100 years, it has not been reciprocated by humans as greed and consumerism have taken full focus. Mother Nature has become seemingly invisible to humans as she continues to suffer and grows weary as human lifestyle choices threaten her ability to survive. With the planet’s existence at stake, some humans are beginning to take notice, but will it be too little too late? An old lady named Elanore holds hope that the heroes to save the day will be young people.
What was the show about:
Jameson – It was teaching us about mother nature and looking after the wild.
Bailey – It was about to not chuck rubbish in the ocean and the waters.
Louise – It was trying to tell us to stop littering and helping mother nature.
Some favourite parts from the show:
Eloise – I liked when I went up on the stage and held the water.
Louise – I liked the first bit when the old lady was singing and the dog was singing a song! And it was funny when the dog started talking.
Ian – I liked the whole thing! It was about the world stuff like mother nature.
Tilly W – I thought it was so funny when the dog farted!
Zahlia – I liked when Mr French was the tree because you looked funny.

New changes to COVID-19 isolation
Public Health has recently changed the mandatory COVID-19 isolation period from seven days to five days.
This means COVID-19 cases can leave isolation, provided they:
- are no longer displaying symptoms on Day 5 of their isolation period, and
- have had no fever for 24 hours prior to Day 5.
People that leave isolation on or after Day 5 must wear a face mask in all settings for Days 5, 6 and 7 – even if they are not displaying symptoms. People are strongly recommended to wear a face mask indoors on Days 8, 9 and 10.
Students under the age of 12 and all primary school students are not required to wear face masks when leaving isolation.
To read more about this change, please visit the Tasmanian Government Coronavirus website.
